Genital Warts - The Symptoms

The common symptom about genital warts is having cauliflower shaped bumps that are tiny and flat. These bumps give burning sensation and feeling of itchiness right where your genital is. For those women who have genital warts growing inside the vagina, they might have bleeding right after sexual contact and rarely have abnormal discharge. Bleeding or having a urinary barrier does happen when the warts involve the opening of the urethra. Worst of all it can lead to cancer for both men and women. It is advisable to immediately seek the aid of proper medical treatment.
Genital warts do not give the patients a feeling of pain or whatsoever. These warts give an itchy feeling and are very contagious. Reports have stated that genital warts do appear on patients whose age ranges from 17-33 years old. You will be in high risk of getting infected when you have sexual contact with a person who has this disease.
Like any other types of warts that do appear on certain areas of your skin, genital warts can sometimes be caused by HPV. There are different types of HPV but not all can cause genital warts. HPV are very infectious and you can be contaminated with such through having sexual contact with a person who is infected by it.
When HPV gets into your system and now you are infected with the virus, symptoms will begin to show from within few weeks or even months right after exposure. If at any rate, you can see or feel the symptoms better go to a doctor for consultation.
